If 100 cartons each contain 20 pieces, the scope is 2,000 pieces. A quotation for 100 loose pieces is not comparable. This arithmetic example is not a current price, MOQ or stock statement.
Stop and clarify these red flags
Generic evidence
A document mentioning a product family does not establish the quoted item. Request exact model, manufacturer, issuer, revision, method and applicability.
Different sample
A stock reference can inform discussion but cannot approve a changed material, dimensions, configuration, electrical system or packaging. Name the deviations and next sample gate.
Record limitations beside the decision
- Appearance review does not establish durability, range, braking performance or route suitability.
- Supplier timing is an assumption until the final configuration, approvals and order terms are confirmed.
- Lower unit cost can accompany a different construction, pack basis or freight boundary.
